Lunchtime with Jack
The Lunchtime programme is a blend of good music and chat with some special features thrown in for good measure.
Every afternoon, Monday to Thursday, Jack invites you to take part in the Triple Teaser Competition which will lead to someone winning a CD Album every Friday. He will play three songs and all you have to do is work out the connection between these songs and your name could be put in the win bin.
Jack is the first to admit the most relaxing part of his week is the Gardening spot. Although gardening is not one of Jack’s strong points, he will admit he is keen to try and get more involved with the help of the Irvine Beat FM gardener, Julie Shaw, who will be joining him every Friday.
Monday to Friday, Jack indulges in two songs back to back from his favourite band the Beatles and has the Jukebox Stackers just after one o'clock

Jack's Bio
Jack started out as a mobile Disc Jockey many many......... many years ago providing the music for weddings, engagements etc.
He moved into Radio twenty three years ago helping a very famous presenter produce his show, ( modesty forbids me to mention his name), but what a swinging name it was.
In 1994 he was invited to join the team at Dumbarton Festival Radio as a presenter and became programme director the following year. This lead to him becoming a Founder Director of Castle Rock FM which won a full time licence in 2000.
In 2004 Jack joined West Sound in Ayr and presented the mid morning programme Monday to Saturday until 2009.
In 2010 he was invited to join Irvine Beat FM and he will tell you himself, he had no hesitation in accepting the chance to be involved in what he describes in his own words as a fabulous and very professional Radio Station where he enjoys working with a great team.
